"When the Swell Breaks" - Flash Fiction published by Rue Scribe

Published by Rue Scribe for Underwood Press, this was originally written for the April 2019 Furious Fiction Contest. The prompt was the necessary inclusion of these exact lines:

1) “It is a beautiful and terrible thing, and should therefore be treated with great caution.” 2) “He’s never done anything like this before.” 3) “What’s it going to be then, eh?”
